PARTNER Applications 

∙ Partner (Provisional and Migrant) Visa (Subclass 309 & 100)

∙ Prospective Marriage Visa (Subclass 300)
This visa lets you come to Australia to marry your prospective spouse and then apply for a Partner visa. 

 

CHILD Applications 

∙ Child Visa (Subclass 101)
This visa allows a child who is outside Australia to come to Australia to live with their parents.

∙ Child Visa (Subclass 802)
This visa allows a child to stay in Australia permanently and live with their parents. 

∙ Dependent Child Visa (Subclass 445)
This visa allows a child to stay in Australia temporarily while we process their parent’s permanent Partner visa application. 

∙ Adoption Visa (Subclass 102)
This visa allows children adopted outside Australia to live in Australia with their adoptive parent.

∙ Contributory Parent (Temporary) Visa (Subclass 173)
This is a temporary visa lets a parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen stay temporarily in Australia. 

∙ Contributory Parent Visa (Subclass 143)
This permanent visa lets a parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident of Australia or eligible New Zealand citizen move to Australia. 

∙ Contributory Aged Parent (Temporary) visa (subclass 884)
This temporary visa lets the aged parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen stay temporarily in Australia. 

∙ Contributory Aged Parent Visa (subclass 864)
This permanent visa allows an elderly parent of an established Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen to reside in Australia. 

∙ Aged Parent Visa (Subclass 804)
This permanent visa allows an aged parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen stay in Australia. 

∙ Parent Visa (subclass 103)
This permanent visa lets a parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen move to Australia. 

∙ Sponsored Parent (Temporary) Visa (subclass 870)
This temporary visa lets a parent of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen visit Australia for up to 3 or 5 years.

 

RELATIVE Applications 

∙ Carer Visa (Subclass 836/ 116)
This permanent visa allows you to stay in Australia to care for someone with a long-term medical condition who has no reasonable access to care options in Australia. 

∙ Orphan Relative Visa (Subclass 117)
This visa allows a child who is single to come to Australia to live with a relative if their parents are deceased, can’t care for them or can’t be found.

∙ Remaining Relative Visa (Subclass 115)
This permanent visa allows people to move to Australia to be with their only close family members. 

∙ Aged Dependent Relative Visa (Subclass 114 & 838)
This permanent visa allows a single older person who relies on a relative living in Australia for financial support, move to Australia or stay permanently. 

∙ New Zealand Citizen Family Relationship (Temporary) Visa (Subclass 461)
This visa is for a person who is not a New Zealand citizen but is a member of a family unit of a New Zealand citizen. It allows you to live and work in Australia for five years. 

∙ Orphan Relative (Subclass 837)
This visa lets a child who is single and already in Australia stay with a relative if their parents are deceased, can’t care for them or can’t be found. 

∙ Remaining Relative Visa (Subclass 835)
This permanent visa lets people stay in Australia to be with their only close family members.
